Disability Certification and issuance of Disability Cards

Good afternoon, this announcement goes to all persons with disabilities in Kafue district. There will be disability certification and issuance of disability cards tomorrow at Twatasha Community School. You are all invited not to miss this rare opportunity as Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities will be in Kafue. If you do not have a disability card, this is the best time to acquire it. For those clients who have already submitted your application forms, visit our Administration and for those who did not yet fill in the forms, you are required to come with your National Registration Cards (N. Kafue Residents Community Meeting

On 23rd May 2021, we had a community meeting with Kafue residents. We discussed how to support persons with disabilities and their families. The community wanted to know how the government and other stakeholders are helping our communities through social cash transfer.

Acceptance of COVID 19 Response PPE material

29 June 2021

We offer our appreciation to Kafue General Hospital under the mandate of the Ministry of Health for offering capacity building for COVID 19 response and the re-emphasizing the importance of vaccination. Ten disability organizations participated this meeting today at Twatasha Disabled and OVC Organization, in view of the fact that government alone can't manage to fight this battle of COVID 19 pandemic. Five schools, one health clinic and four Disability organizations recieved PPE materials to promote, support and protect persons with disabilities in their institutions. Also 600 masks handed over to our organization for preparing opening of schools. We appreciate the Cheshire CBID for sponsoring this development in our district.
